Assam CM appointed 13 MLAs as Parliamentary Secretaries

Guwahati, Sept 14 (IBNS) : Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Monday appointed 13 MLAs as Parliamentary Secretaries of the state government.

In a directive to Chief Secretary VK Pipersenia, Gogoi asked him to bring out the notification appointing the MLAs Susanta Borgohain, Arun Phukan, Aroti Kachari, Monika Bora, Rupjyoti Kurmi, Ghanashyam Kalita, Habul Chakraborty, Dr. Rumi Nath, Hemanta Talukdar, Kamalakhya  Dey Purkayastha, Jamaluddin Ahmed, Sivsaran Basumatary and SR Subba as Parliamentary Secretaries.

The Chief Minister will administer the oath to the newly appointed Parliamentary Secretaries on Sept 16 at 11 am at Raj Bhawan.
