Army recruitment rally revisits Purulia

Kolkata, Nov 25 (IBNS): The Indian Army will be holding a week long recruitment rally at JK College, Purulia from Dec 9 to Dec 14.

The recruitment is for candidates from the four districts - North-24 Parganas, Hooghly, Bankura and Purulia.

The recruitment is for entry as soldier general duty, technical including clerical and storekeeper trades.

Male candidates aged 17 ½ to 21 years (born between Dec 09, 1993 and Jun 09, 1997) are eligible for Soldier General Duty.

For the technical and other entrants, the age criterion is 17½ to 23 years (born between Dec 09, 1991 and Jun 09, 1997).
 
General Candidates must be 169 cms taller and weigh not under 50 kgs. Chest measurements should be 77 to 82 cms. For ST candidates the weigh may be 48 kgs, other requirements are same.
 
The registration at the venue will commence at 5 am and close at 7 am.
