Guwahati/IBNS: Defying all social distancing norms and government orders to prevent the spread of COVID-19, a large crowd gathered at a playground in Arunachal Pradesh’s East Kameng district to buy carbonated cold drinks.

According to the reports, a large number of people of East Kameng district – a bordering district of Arunachal Pradesh along Indo-China border had gathered at general ground at Seppa on May 14 as the cold drinks selling agency started distributing cold drinks bottles.

Many photographs of the incident went viral on social media.

The people lined up at the ground to buy cold drinks and a truck loaded with cold drinks bottles was spotted there.

The district administration had deployed security personnel to control the situation.
