Jammu/UNI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be arriving in Jammu from Srinagar to address a public rally on Sunday afternoon.

Shah will be meeting several delegations and also dedicate a multi-disciplinary research centre at the campus of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) at Nagrota in the city outskirts.

Shah, who is on three day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, arrived in Srinagar on Saturday.

Earlier the venue for public rally was changed in view of inclement weather forecast but on Sunday morning, as per an official, there will be no change and the rally is scheduled to be addressed at Bhagwati Nagar.

This the first visit of Shah after the revocation of Article 370 on Aug 5, 2019 when the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir was bifurcated into two Union Territories (UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh).
