Amit Shah suffering from swine flu, undergoes treatment in AIIMS

New Delhi, Jan 17 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party supremo Amit Shah, who has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences after being diagnosed with swine flu,  is 'recovering', officials said.

The BJP said the party president will be discharged soon.

The BJP posted on its Twitter page: "Update: BJP President Shri @AmitShah is doing well. Doctors, post check up this morning, have opined that he is recovering well and would soon be discharged. Thank you all for your kind wishes and several messages. We are overwhelmed by your affection."

Shah on Wednesday informed people that he was suffering from swine flu.

Several top BJP leaders wished Shah speedy recovery:

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted: " Spoke to @AmitShah ji who is undergoing treatment for Swine Flu at AIIMS and inquired about his health. I pray for his speedy recovery."


Ex-Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje posted: " Wishing Shri @AmitShah ji a speedy recovery. Get well soon!."
