Akhilesh should introspect before commenting on law and order in UP: BJP

Lucknow, Jun 9 (UNI): Replying to Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav’s recent comments on law and order situation in state, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Ashok Pandey here said that Mr Yadav should introspect before such comments.

Mr Pandey said: “The BJP government has strengthen laws against such heinous crimes while SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav had opposed for strict laws against rapists and said that such incidents occur by youngsters.”

BJP spokesperson said that police has taken swift actions in Aligarh incident and arrested four accused in no time.

Also actions were taken against five policemen for negligence of duty. He said that matter will be sent to fast track court and punishment would be awarded to criminals as soon as possible, he added.
