Aurangabad/Mumbai/UNI: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Thursday expressed concern regarding the health of the frontline COVID-19 warriors saying that several medical personnel, scribes and social workers have been infected from the contagion in the state.

Asking them to take mandatory precautions while performing their duties in this hour of crisis, he said the prevailing situation is worrying as the number of pandemic cases are still on the rise.

However, some have failed to understand sole purpose of the lockdown as they are found loitering on streets, he asserted, adding that these people are aggravating the crisis and further burdening the administration with additional work of curbing their movements.
