Chennai, Apr 30 (IBNS): Actor turned politician, Kamal Haasan, is scheduled to officially launch his whistle-blower App on Saturday, according to media reports.

The app is called Maiam Whistle.

In a promo video that runs for a little over a minute, Kamal Haasan urges active citizens to take a look at their surroundings and expose corruption in their area. It can be anything from bribing people to garbage strewn about anywhere, the TOI reported.

A couple of days ago the actor had tweeted, "KEEP VIGIL WITH WHISTLE! #WhistlePoduForTN #AdhuEppadiKekaamaPogum #MaiamWhistle".

Meanwhile, south Indian superstar Rajinikanth relaunched his mobile app for his political outfit, Rajini Makkal Mandram, in April, reports said.

Tweeted Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth on Saturday, "Reading and addressing all the feedback I’m receiving regarding our iOS and Android app. Working towards giving you all the best ! #RajiniMakkalMandram".
