AAP's Kumar Viswas slams Bedi

| | Jan 24, 2015, at 03:01 am
New Delhi, Jan 23 (IBNS) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Viswas on Friday slammed former top cop-turned-politician Kiran Bedi and said she was a sympathiser of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) even when they were leading an anti-corruption movement as a part of social activist Anna Hazare's team in 2011.

Visas told NDTV: "Kiran Bedi was a sympathiser of the BJP even then. Kejriwal told us that Kiran doesn't want us to attack the BJP."

The BJP has named Kiran Bedi as their chief ministerial candidate for the Delhi Assembly polls.

Speaking on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Viswas said: "The PM does not belong to a single party. If the PM does good work we will appreciate that."

Viswas had fought against Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha polls last year from Amethi seat in Uttar Pradesh.
