A Bakery owner burnt alive in an accidental fire in his shop

Vijayapura, Karnataka, June 4(UNI) In a bizarre incident a Bakery owner was burnt alive in an accidental fire when his shop went up in flames in Chadchan town in the District today.

Police on Tuesday said that the deceased was identified as Madhavarao Chawdhari (35) , a native of Rajasthan State.

The fire allegedly broke out when Bakery owner performed Puja on Monday evening by lighting lamp in front of goddess photo as yesterday was ' No Moon ' day and slept in the shop locked from inside. It was suspected that the lighted lamp may have fallen down and fire broke out and it spread into the shop he was burnt alive.

Chadchan police have registered a case and investigating.
