8-year-old found raped, murdered at factory shed in K'taka

Bengaluru, Feb 6 (IBNS): The body of an eight-year-old girl was mysteriously found at a factory shed in Karnataka’s Hoskote Taluk industrial area on Thursday evening, media reports said.

According to police, a man was playing with the girl and took her to the shed on Thursday afternoon, and allegedly assaulted her. Later the girl was found raped and murdered.

A search drive was launched for the accused.

Sources said the victim’s family came to Hoskote Taluk area from Hubli in north Karnataka in search of livelihood.
