5.2 earthquake hits Manipur

Imphal, Feb 24 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter Scale hit Manipur on Friday, officials said.

The IMD website has called the intensity of the quake as 'moderate'.

The epicentre of the quake was located at latitude 24.1 degrees north longitutde 93.4 degrees E and at a depth of 20 kms.

The epicentre is located at Churachandpur district in the state.
