25 people injured after a passenger bus falls in a deep pit in Assam's Lakhimpur district

Guwahati, June 23 (IBNS): At least 25 people were injured after a passenger bus fell down in a pit in Assam’s Lakhimpur district on Sunday. 

The incident took place at Bhogpur area near Narayanpur.

According to the reports, the passenger bus came from Nagaland’s Dimapur to Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh.

The bus skidded off from the road and fell down into 30-feet deep pit in which at least 25 people were injured.

The injured persons were admitted at nearby hospital.
