Ludhiana, Punjab, Mar 7 (IBNS) Jhanvi Behl, a 15-year old Ludhiana girl, took the social media by storm after she challenged JNUSU leader Kanhaiya Kumar for a debate on nationalism.

Behl was quoted in the media as saying, "Whatever Kanhaiya did was wrong. he should not have spoken against the Prime Minister of our country."

"He should have spoken about the anti-nationals instead," Behl said.

"I am ready for a debate. He can call me anytime, anywhere and we can have it," she said.

Many netizens have hailed this move as a welcome change.

Kanhaiya Kumar, a supported of Left ideologies, was released recently from Tihar Jail after 23 days of imprisonment. After his release he delivered a fiery speech in the JNU campus targetting PM Modi and comparing him with Hitler.

He was booked on sedition charges, moments after anti-national slogans were reportedly heard inside the JNU campus.

He is likely to campaign in the upcoming West Bengal polls.
