14-year old boy 'sacrificed' in Upper Assam by 'Tantrik'
The incident took place at Kaokao tea estate near Sonari in Upper Assam’s Charaideo district on Wednesday morning.
Earlier, a 4-year old girl was allegedly beheaded and offered as sacrifice by a Tantrik at Ratnapur tea estate in the same district on Nov 1.
According to the reports, local people of Kaokao tea estate found the beheaded body of the 14-year old boy in front of a Maa Kali Than nearby the Tantrik Iku Nayek house.
Local people alleged that the innocent minor boy was beheaded and offered as sacrifice by the Tantrik who expressed his desire a month before in front of some tea garden labourers.
Later police have recovered severed head of the minor boy.
The Tantrik is still absconding and police launched operation to nab him.
It is the second incident in the oil rich Upper Assam as two minors were allegedly beheaded and offered as sacrifice by Tantrik.
