Guwahati, July 29 (IBNS): After forming the new Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), BJP’s central leaders finally approved the Executive Member’s list which would likely to take charge next week.

A top leader of BJP’s Assam unit said that 11 Executive Members of the council would likely to take charge next week.

BJP scripted victory of the council polls held on June 17 last, with sweeping majority by winning 24 seats out of 26.

The top BJP leader said that central leaders of the saffron party had already approved the list of Executive Members and all are new faces.

“No one member of the previous council included in the first list,” the BJP leader said.

Earlier, Tuliram Ronghang had took charge as the new Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the council.
