10th incarnation of Lord Vishnu? Gujarat engineer's show cause reply stuns seniors

| @indiablooms | May 19, 2018, at 05:32 pm

Ahmedabad, May 19 (IBNS): Proclaiming himself as the 10th incarnation of Lord Vishnu, a man has stunned his seniors while replying to a show cause notice.

The incident has taken place in Gujarat's Rajkot city.

The man in question has been identified as Rameshchandra Fefar, a superintending engineer with the Sardar Sarovar project, reports said.

He was showcaused due to his truancy- attending just 16 days in eight months of service.

Fefar considers his job as mundane and has said he is  overqualified for the job.

"Should I kill time in office or meditate from home to prevent droughts in the country?" the Times of India quoted his reply from the letter he has submitted to his seniors.

"I am Lord Vishnu’s 10th incarnation as Kalki,” he says. “I am meditating in the otherworldly state...This work I cannot do in the office. Thus I don’t remain physically present in the office."

Fefar has also stated that it was his prayers which saved Gujarat from droughts, despite attempts from 'Anti Gods' to stop the rain.

The letter has since gone viral.

However, not everyone is seeing the funny side of it.

"We have received the report and our administrative department is processing it. The file will be put up before the commissioner in a day or two and the matter will be taken up with the officer’s parent department — the water resources department," the TOI quoted Nilesh Dubey, in-charge of the media cell and deputy collector of the Sardar Sarovar Punah-Vasvat Agency, as saying.

Earlier in 2017, Fefar's wife had registered a complaint against him with the mahila police station in Rajkot, stating mental harassment.

According to the complainant, Fefar had called his wife and his son monsters.
