Kolkata/IBNS: In a bid to bridge the gap between textile artisans and consumers, Indian crafts brand Inkriti is hosting a special show this July in Kolkata.

With a focus on sustainability and inclusivity, Inkriti collaborates directly with artisans to create timeless, gender-neutral garments that showcase the beauty of Indian textiles and craftsmanship.

Titled ‘Shuruaat: A New Beginning for Crafts’, the show features an array of crafted products, including use of Ajrakh motifs, organic Kala Cotton garments, handlooms, and tie and dye works.

Founders, Matrika and Sonu, will also be present to share stories about the heritage behind each handcrafted item.

Said Matrika, "We identify Inkriti as a lifestyle revolution in which sustainability stems from the Indian culture through crafts."

What: Shuruaat: A New Beginning for Crafts

Where: The Bhawanipur House, Kolkata

When: July 28-29, 2023; 1pm-8pm
