Pondicherry University woman VC asked to go on leave

Pondicherry, Aug 14 (IBNS) Chandra Krishnamoorthy, who happens to be the first woman Vice Chancellor of Pondicherry University, has been asked to go on leave by the Human Resource Development (HRD) ministry following demand for her removal by the students, said media reports.
According to reports, the VC has been asked to go on leave till she is cleared of the allegations against her.
 
Students demanding her removal over violations of rights and administrative misdemeanor said she had not matched up to the standards of the previous VCs and said she should go.
