ICSI to offer course on GST

Kolkata, Oct 11 (IBNS): Indian Institute of Company Secretaries Of India (ICSI) on Friday announced to develop a course on Goods and Service Tax (GST) at the 10th Regional Conference of Practicing Company Secretariat.

“GST is going to change the whole taxing scenario of our country. ICSI is planning to develop a course on GST. We look forward to hold seminars on GST in different parts of the country in the upcoming days,” said Mamta Binani, Vice-President, ICSI, here.

The institute is all set to come up with a new project, Student Member Application Software Hosting (SMASH) by January with the aim to bring ICSI online.

“In an effort to contribute to our PM’s Digital India Campaign, we are bringing ICSI to a digital platform by January,” added Binani.
