Kolkata, Nov 8 (UNI): Barely a few minutes to go for the inauguration of the 25th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF), all roads lead to Netaji Indoor Stadium on Friday.

Incepted in the year 1995, this is going to be the 25th edition of this glamorous International Festival and literally the festival is going larger with every passing year.Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will inaugurate the event at 4.18 pm with dignitaries across the world. This year, Germany is the focus country of the festival.

Pandit Bickram Ghosh composed the tune of KIFF this time. He said, "I am honoured and thankful to our Chief Minister for giving me the scope to compose the 25th year tune. I just kept in mind that I have to create a music scape which will be Bengal's but with an international flavour."

Acclaimed director Raj Chakraborty, who happens to be the chairman of this edition of festival, has already reached the venue in a traditional Bengali Dhoti-Punjabi. Like an administrator par excellence he is verifying everything personally.
