Tiger poached in Madhya Pradesh: Reports
Seoni (MP)/UNI): A tiger’s carcass was found floating on Saturday in the Pench River, which traverses the national park in Madhya Pradesh that has the same name and straddles the Seoni-Chhindwara district border.
According to reports, poaching is suspected as injury marks were observed and a paw was severed, Forest Department sources said.
An inquiry is underway after the discovery was made in the vicinity of Kona Pindrai village and officials rushed to the scene.
