Kolkata/IBNS: Rotary Club of Calcutta Metro City has organized a free health check-up camp in collaboration with SRL Diagnostics and Metro Railway Kolkata at twenty stations which began on May 17 and will continue till May 30.

The aim of the camp is to raise mass awareness about health and the importance of regular health check-ups.

During these health camps, the medical experts will conduct free blood tests for Cholesterol, Sugar and Blood Pressure.

Rotarian Subhojit Roy on behalf of the organizers said, “Rotary Club of Calcutta Metro City organizes the camp every year in association with Metro Railways, Kolkata and SRL Ltd to provide basic health check-ups for commuters of Kolkata Metro Railway and also basic health awareness in view of rising lifestyle disease and health issues."

"Last two years, we were unable to conduct these camps due to the pandemic and the lockdown, but we are extremely happy that this year once again we bring with us the message that regular health check-ups are necessary for a healthy mind and body. The camp timings are 9 am-2 pm every day and we appeal to all metro commuters to take advantage of the free service," Roy said.
