Injured female rhino dies at Kaziranga

Assam, Sept 8 (IBNS): Suffering from severe pain for over 72-hours, a female rhino died at Kaziranga National Park in Assam on Monday, reports said.

The rhino got stuck in mud after she was involved in a fight with some male rhinos. The fight left her back paralysed.

Medical and rescue teams had rushed to the spot from Guwahati but failed to rescue the rhino, despite the best possible efforts, sources said.
