India records 6,298 COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours

New Delhi: India recorded 6,298 new cases in the past 24 hours as COVID-19 positivity rate touched 1.89 percent, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Friday.

India's active caseload currently stands at 46,748.

Active cases stand at 0.1 percent.

Recovery Rate currently at 98.71 percent.

5,916 people recovered from the disease during the same period.
