India records 2,55,874 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours, 614 deaths

New Delhi: India witnessed a dip in the daily case count as 2,55,874 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.

The daily positivity rate also dipped to 15.52 percent.

During the past 24 hours, 614 people died due to the deadly virus.

2,67,753 recoveries were registered in the past 24 hours.

India's active caseload currently stands at 22,36,842

Active cases stand at 5.62 percent.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 93.15 percent.
