India adds 1,421 fresh COVID-19 cases in last 24 hrs

New Delhi/IBNS: India added 1,421 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

The country's active caseload currently stands at 16,187, which is 0.04 per cent.

A total of 1,826 recoveries have been recorded in the last 24 hours pushing the total recoveries to 4,24,82,262.

India's recovery rate presently stands at 98.75 per cent.

A total of 78.69 crore tests been have conducted so far in the country, the Union Health Ministry statement said.
