Himalaya launches HiOwna Momz, a health drink supplement for pregnant and lactating mothers

HiOwna Momz is made of natural ingredients that help expecting mothers by giving the required amount of nourishment to both the mother and the baby. The product is the latest addition to the HiOwna range of health drinks by Himalaya, which includes HiOwna Kidz and HiOwna (for adults and the elderly).

The supplement contains well-researched Herbal Actives, which helps to build a strong immune system in both mother and baby, and assist in enhancing the quality and quantity of breast milk in nursing mothers. Chicory (Kasani) is naturally high in inulin, which is known to have prebiotic action. Apple (Seva) has a unique portfolio of polyphenols with antioxidant properties. Studies show that Apple increases antioxidant enzymes, including superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase, in red blood. Maternal consumption of apples has a protective effect against childhood asthma in infants.
