Ahmedabad, Apr 11 (IBNS) Inspired by Google's driverless car project, two scientists from Gujarat have made a driverless car of their own design.

The prototype of the car which was completed in a record 28 days is the brainchild of  a Sanand-based engineering college professors.

The car responds to commands from a remote location to start, turn or change gears- all without a driver.

Kaushal Jani, Assistant Professor at Amiraj College of Engineering, said, "We have used high range cameras and video streaming is available to us. Besides, we are using 3G wireless system for communication."
