Delhi records three-month highest 1,515 fresh Covid-19 cases

New Delhi/UNI: Delhi recorded 1,515 Covid-19 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, the highest in over three months, a health bulletin released on Thursday evening showed.

Also, five more deaths were registered from the virus. With the new additions, the case tally has reached 6,52,742 while the death toll surged to 10,978.

The active cases now are 5,497 while the positivity rate is 4.61 per cent.

According to the official data, 89,836 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, which included 58,303 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 31,533 Rapid Antigen tests.

As many as 4,646 beds in hospitals, 5,508 in Dedicated Covid Centres and 97 in Dedicated Health Centres are vacant, the data showed.

The total number of contaminated zones are 1,067.
