Alzheimer's patients need our affection, says JP Nadda

New Delhi, Sept 21 (IBNS): Addressing the nation on World Alzheimer's Day on Wednesday, Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda said that people suffering from the disease needs affection before treatment.

Nadda took to twitter to spread awareness about the disease.

"Alzheimer’s is an irreversible brain disorder which slowly destroys memory & eventually thinking aptitude of the patient #WorldAlzheimersDay," his tweet read.

"Persons suffering from Alzheimer's disease needs treatment; but before that they needs our affection," he said.

Alzheimer's is a progressive chronic neurodegenerative disease.
