New Delhi, Apr 4 (IBNS): Videocon, a leading consumer electronic and home appliances company, on Friday announced the launch of its new range of air conditioners with 'Multi Point Cooling System' (MPCS) technology.

The company plans to capture 15 percent of the total market share and is confident that it will be able to achieve the targets based on three strong pillars of technology, distribution and product customization.

The new MPCS technology will ensure super cooling in seconds.

With significant focus laid on its design, Videocon’s latest range comes with circuit design and capillary design which ensures fast cooling and delivers maximum power efficiency. With this, Videocon is bullish in increasing its market share and aims 50 percent sales growth in air conditioner segment over the last year.

Sanjeev Bakshi, COO, Air Conditioners division, Videocon said, “Our new Air Conditioner range has been created and customized keeping varying Indian market requirements in consideration. Further, the MPCS technology will ensure super fast cooling enhancing the complete product experience”.

He said, “With this launch we are targeting a 50% increase in our AC sales when compared with last year. We primarily expect growth coming from the robust demand from urban population, which either looks forward to adding a new AC or replacing the old one. The first time buyers in Tier II cities will be also adding to the demand.”

The new range comprises 32 new models in three dominant colors - White (with pattern), Red and Silver.

It is priced from Rs. 27490 to Rs. 37440.
