Chennai: TVS Motor Company reported a 29% year-on-year growth in overall sales for July 2025, with total volumes rising to 456,350 units from 354,140 units a year ago.

The surge was led by strong two-wheeler demand and record-high international business sales.

Two-wheeler sales rose 29% to 438,790 units, driven by a 42% jump in scooter volumes to 198,265 units and a 25% rise in motorcycles to 201,494 units. Domestic two-wheeler sales grew 21% to 308,720 units.

Electric vehicle sales rose 10% year-on-year to 23,605 units, despite the company flagging continued supply challenges for magnets in the short to medium term.

Exports posted a sharp 46% jump, reaching 142,629 units.

Two-wheeler exports alone surged 52% to 130,070 units, marking the company’s highest ever international sales in this segment.

Three-wheeler sales rose 21% to 17,560 units, up from 14,464 units in July last year.
