TCS positioned in 'Winner's Circle' by HfS Research in IoT Services Report

Mumbai, Oct 15 (IBNS): Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, on Thursday announced it has been named to the 'Winner's Circle' by analyst firm HfS Research in its September 2015 HfS Blueprint Report, 'Internet of Things (IoT) Services,' authored by Charles Sutherland, Chief Research Officer.

Data was collected covering buyers, providers and advisors/influencers of IoT Services. ‘Winner’s Circle’ recipients demonstrated excellence in execution and innovation. TCS’ success is attributed to having strong relationships with clients, and the ability to be agile and highly flexible in meeting clients’ needs.  IoT is a fundamental part of TCS’ Digital Reimagingation vision for its customers, and TCS will continue to invest in innovation, IoT skills and future capabilities that increase business value for clients.

The report highlights TCS’ strengths in co-investment with clients in projects to develop IoT related assets, which can be brought to other clients.

TCS uniquely co-creates with clients through its Silicon Valley Customer Collaboration Center (SVCCC), and soon-to-be launched Digital Reimagination Center, bringing a deep understanding of IoT for industries, valuable IoT experience and insights, digital technology skills, differentiating engineering and IoT skills and offerings, and the broadest delivery capabilities.

“TCS is in the ‘Winner's Circle’ of our inaugural HfS Blueprint on IoT Services due in no small part to its agility in working with clients through co-creation and co-investment to deliver high value solutions built around the Internet of Things,” said Charles Sutherland, Chief Research Officer for HfS. “TCS has a vision for IoT that brings clients a great breadth of industry and technology skills, together with engineering, big data and cloud capabilities, to help global corporations undertake Digital ReimaginationTM. TCS also has it's own IP offerings for IoT, such as the TCS IoT Sensor Data Analytics Framework, and we're excited to see what it co-creates with clients around IoT in the coming year as we follow this fast growing market of new solutions.”

“In our client work and research, we are finding that the Internet of Things is emerging as a powerful force of Digital ReimaginationTM, enabling companies to fundamentally change their business models, create new products and services that never existed before, look at customer segmentation in fundamentally new ways, automating and accelerating business processes, and creating exciting digital-physical workplaces,” said Satya Ramaswamy, Global Head of Digital Enterprise, TCS. “We are excited by the opportunities we are creating for our customers by leveraging IoT technologies and are delighted by TCS’ ‘Winner's Circle’ position.”
