New Delhi: Jewellery brand Tanishq introduced a flexible payment option,’ Pay from home’ service with the view to further strengthen brand’s consumer-centric initiatives.

Through this service, Tanishq will enable customers to complete the payment process from the comfort of their homes during the election period.

The national local retail jeweller is also giving the option of products to be delivered to the customer’s home.

The launch will be piloted in select markets like Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, and West Bengal. The service later might be extended to other states in India.

Ever since the retail industry phased into the new normal, Tanishq has been at the forefront to build and lend an overall positive sentiment not just to the jewellery segment but to the overall stakeholder value chain.

Tanishq has been the forerunner in introducing ‘Phygital’ features with consumer at the core of all initiatives introduced by Tanishq.

‘Pay from home’ service is an extension of Tanishq’s future-first consumer initiatives that was introduced recently like Video calling,

Endless aisle, Virtual jewellery ‘Try On’ - Powered by augmented reality, Real time live assisted chat and Appointment-based shopping.

This ’Pay from home’ initiative will allow customers in election states to complete the payment process from the comfort of their homes.

Once the customer finalizes the jewellery either at the store or through Tanishq’s video calling facility and the consumer opts for cash payment, Tanishq will facilitate cash collection from the customers’ home.

Speaking on the launch of the unique initiative, Arun Narayan, VP - Category, Marketing & Retail, Tanishq, Titan Company Limited, says, “Customers are at the heart of all initiatives at Tanishq and our approach is to solve vs merely sell. Through ‘Pay from Home’ we are providing two effective solutions. For those who wish to pay by cash, we have tied up with a reputed partner to collect cash from homes in compliance with all regulations whilst offering digital payment options on mobile phones as well. Post this, customers can walk into any of our stores and shop at ease for their desired jewellery and avail of our home delivery service as well.  With these well-thought-out solutions, Tanishq customers can shop with complete confidence as we take care of both cash collection as well as jewellery delivery. This is one of the many ways in which we strive to make shopping at Tanishq a memorable experience.”
