Sun Pharma’s Dilip Sanghvi acquires Rs 6 9crores worth positive media visibility

New Delhi, Aug 22 (IBNS): In an analysis of over 24,414 print articles from English and Hindi media tracked by BlueBytes (a Comniscient Group company), a Media Analytics and Research firm – the Chairman Dilip Sanghvi of Sun Pharma, received the highest visibility among Pharma spokespersons, with 31% of all media articles with spokespersons mentioned, securing positive media value worth ₹69crores.

The next most visible Pharma spokesperson was Biocon’s Chairman and Managing Director, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw with 18% of positive media articles valued at rs. 40crores. Lupin’s CEO, Vinita Gupta received 8% of positive media articles valued at Rs. 19crores.

Jayprakash Pujari, Operations Head, BlueBytes, (a Comniscient Group company) commented, ”These results are a product of news articles tracked in all major English and Hindi print media across all publications in the period between July 15,2015 to July 16,2015. As a spokesperson, is vital to any business,acquiring high visibility only builds to its status and facilitates to generate awareness and higher recall for the brand. The spokesperson in the pharm asector stands as a medical representative who can effectively communicate the brand message to the consumer and the media.”

Among International pharma brands, the most visible spokesperson was Andrew Witty, CEOGSK with2% of media articles with positive value worth  Rs 5 crores followed by Edgard A Olaizola, Managing Director Eli Lilly garnering Rs 2crores worth of positive media value and Melvin D'Souza, Managing Director Novo Nordisk procuring Rs 86 lakhs worth.
