SAIL's MC Agrawal appointed mjunction Chairman

Kolkata/IBNS: Mahesh Chand Agrawal, Executive Director for Sales & International Trade Division at SAIL, has been appointed Chairman of mjunction services limited, a B2B e-commerce marketplace.

mjunction services limited is a joint venture of SAIL and Tata Steel, which registered a transaction value of Rs 1,39,824 crores in this fiscal year.

Agrawal takes the mantle from outgoing Chairman Rajiv Mukerji of Tata Steel.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Malviya National Institute of Technology (formerly Malviya Regional Engineering College), Jaipur.

Over the years, he has held several key positions in SAIL and has been a Director at mjunction for one year.

On his appointment, MC Agrawal said, “mjunction is on a sustained growth path, and I look forward to supporting and leading this dynamic organization which is one of the pioneers in B2B e-commerce in India today.”
