Rupee opens flat at 71.24 against USD
Mumbai, Feb 22 (UNI) The Rupee on Friday opened flat at 71.24, rising one paisa against the US Dollar in early trade on selling of the American currency by bankers and exporters, dealers at forex market said.
Weak dollar against other currencies overseas kept the rupee up, the dealers added.
A major fluctuation was seen in the local unit as it recorded intra-day high and low at 71.25 and 71.12 respectively, they added.
