Rupee down 11 paise against USD
Mumbai, Sep 16 (UNI) The Rupee on Friday remained weak as it fell by 11 paise at 79.81 in opening session on brisk demand for US Dollar from bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The local unit slipped owing to strong Dollar against other world currencies amid negative stock market in early trade.
The Rupee unit registered days high and low at 79.78 and 79.85 respectively against the US Dollar, dealer added.
