Religare Health Insurance launches 3 new products

Key features of the three new products are as follows:

Explore - International Travel Insurance offers a world of "unmatched" benefits and provides an insurance cover for hospitalization, compensation for trip cancellation, baggage loss/delay, loss of passport and even an upgrade to business class if the insured’s physical condition demands so. Explore also provides for transportation expenses of one immediate family member to the insured member’s location overseas in case of the latter’s hospitalization. Moreover, in case of accidental hospitalization, the policy Sum Insured is doubled. The policy also offers region specific plansfor convenience of travelers across geographies.

Secure-Personal accident cover directly addresses every concern which can arise due to a serious accident. The policy provides the sum insured to the nominee in case of accidental death of the insured. The insured is paid a pre-defined percentage of the sum insured in case of permanent total or partial disablement and even in case of burns or fractures. Secure also provides a shield to the family members of the insured such as taking care of child’s education in case of unfortunate demise of the insured, daily allowance in case of accidental hospitalization etc.

Enhance-enhanced coverage for greater protection a high deductible health insurance product, provides an extra safety net of coverage at a significantly lesser premium as compared to any basic health insurance plan. As the name suggests, the policy provides the amount over and above the personal contribution of the insured.  Simply put, Enhance works on the principle of Policy Deductible, which is the pre-defined amount that the insured bears through his own finances or any other insurance, during a medical condition. Any amount over and above policy deductible, upto Sum Insured, will be provided by RHICL. Other highlights of this product include an annual health check-up, organ donor cover, expert opinion and an option to avail specific treatment anywhere in the world.

The launch of three new products now takes the number of retail offerings by Religare Health Insurance to five. The company already offers two health insurance products – Care, Comprehensive Health Insurance and Assure, Critical Illness Insurance with a Personal Accident Coverage.
