Petrol, diesel prices hiked
Mumbai/New Delhi, Apr 30 (IBNS): Adding troubles for consumers, petrol and diesel prices have been hiked from Thursday midnight, officials said.
While petrol prices have been hiked by Rs. 3.96 per litre, diesel was raised by Rs. 2.37 a litre.
"Increase in Retail Selling Price of Petrol by Rs. 3.96/litre at Delhi (including State levies) with corresponding price revision in other States. With this change, the price of Petrol in Delhi will become Rs. 63.16/litre," Indian Oil Corporation said in a statement,
"Increase in Retail Selling Price of Diesel (Retail) by Rs. 2.37 /litre at Delhi (including State levies) with corresponding price revision in other States. With this change, the price of Diesel in Delhi will become Rs. 49.57/litre," it said.
