NTPC earns 4.75 pc, ONGC losses 1.34 pc

Mumbai/UNI: NTPC on Friday rallied by 4.75 per cent to Rs 105.95 a major gainer in 30 scrips of BSE while ONGC loses by 1.34 per cent to Rs 81.05.

Other gainers were Asian Paints by 4.43 per cent to Rs 1958.35, Powergrid by 4.39 per cent to Rs 189.05, HDFC Bank by 2.56 per cent to Rs 1085.70 and Nestle India by 2.02 per cent to Rs 16,545.20.

The other losers were Bharti Airtel by 1.05 per cent to Rs 520, Tata Steel by 0.81 per cent to Rs 428.90, Reliance Industries by 0.70 per cent to Rs 2081.75 and Infosys by 0.65 per cent to Rs 948.85.
