Mumbai, June 18 (IBNS) Without naming Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) chief Mukhesh Ambani said in the share holders meeting that last year he had to battle lies and half truths over his business.

"Last year, we saw several false allegations, outright lies and half-truths against this business. We addressed all of the allegations with truths and facts proactively. We have, with your support, weathered these ill-informed campaigns," RIL chairman told shareholders at the 40th Annual General Meeting in Mumbai.

"We have put on social media platforms the facts for everyone to see. ... Let me thank all the shareholders with the phenomenal response we have got to our messages," he said,  while predicting that next three years will be transformational in the company.

RIL will invest over 1.8 trillion rupees in its business in next three years in sectors like telecom and energy, Ambani said.
