Market end on negative note on Wednesday, awaits GDP data
Mumbai, May 31 (IBNS): Inaind equity benchmarks closed lower on Wednesday with BSE Sensex down 13.60 points at 31,145.80 and NSE Nifty down 3.30 points to 9,621.25.
The market remained cautious with the GDP data expected later on Wednesday.
Key stocks that gained were M&M, Lupin, UltraTechCement, GAIL, ICICI Bank, Power Grid Corp and Dr Reddys Labs while Infosys, Vedanta, Coal India, Sun Pharma Reliance, Bharti Infratel, Tata Power and Tata Steel declined.
