Jet Airways extends 'edujetter' programme for students on codeshare flights with Etihad Airways

Mumbai, Aug 20 (IBNS): Jet Airways airline has extended its popular 'eduJetter programme' for students to include codeshare flights operated by Etihad Airways.

The unique programme offers assured benefits to students who have secured admissions to foreign universities when they book and travel on Jet Airways’ direct and codeshare services with Etihad Airways. The offer is valid until Sept 16 and is applicable for travel originating from India and Bangladesh.

Students from these countries can now avail benefits such as excess baggage allowance, baggage tagged and checked-in up to final destination and useful travel aids like Travel Cards, Sim Cards, loyalty benefits and holiday options from JetPrivilege and JetEscapes respectively.

Raj Sivakumar, Chief Commercial Officer, Jet Airways, said: “Jet Airways has always focused on providing exceptional value to its guests by way of special programmes and partnerships. eduJetter is yet another step in that direction offering students from India and Bangladesh a bouquet of services tailored to suit their specific needs. The eduJetter programme has become very popular with the student community as it makes their travel experience both convenient and enjoyable.”

Students from India and Bangladesh while travelling overseas for higher studies on board Jet Airways and Etihad Airways’ codeshare  flights via Abu Dhabi to Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Brussels, Manchester, Düsseldorf, Milan, Geneva, Amsterdam, Zurich, Edinburg, Nairobi, Johannesburg and Istanbul can enjoy excess baggage allowance of 40 kgs.

Similarly, students from India and Bangladesh flying to Perth in Australia over Abu Dhabi can also avail excess baggage allowance of 30 kgs, whereas students flying to Washington, New York, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles via Abu Dhabi can benefit from excess baggage allowance of 3 pieces of 23 kgs each.
