Indian Rupee recovers 28 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Friday smartly recovered by 28 paise to end at 73.61 against the US Dollar on selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

Sliding by 32 paise on Thursday, the domestic unit opened higher by 15 paise to 73.74. Till the end of the session it surged by 28 paise to finish at 73.61 as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee regained owing to weak Dollar against other world currencies, amid rebounding equity market, dealers added.

The rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.82 and 73.57 respectively, he added.
