Indian Rupee recovers 11 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI:  The Rupee on Friday smartly recovered by 11 paise to close positive at 74.16 against the greenback on fresh buying of the US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

Decking by eight paise on Thursday, the local unit went up by 11 paise to 74.16 in opening session and settled at opening level only at 74.16 up by 11 paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee jumped owing to weak Dollar against other world currencies along with rebounding stock market, the dealers added.

The Rupee registered intra days high and low at 74.25 and 74.13 respectively, they added.
