Indian Rupee ends strong at 75.64 against USD

Mumbai/UNI:  The Rupee on Tuesday rallied by 38 paise to 75.64 against the US Dollar on brisk selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The domestic unit that rose by 15 paise to 75.85 in opening trade, spurted by 38 paise to close high at 75.64, as compared to its last close.

The rupee registered intraday high and low at 76.05 and 75.60 respectively, he added.

The Indian currency remained strong following weak dollar against other world currencies along with robust equity market, dealers added.
