Indian Rupee down by 34 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Friday heavily down by 34 paise to 71.29 in opening trade on brisk demand for rising US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit registered intra day high and low at 71.31 and 71.17 respectively.
Strong dollar against other world currencies kept the Rupee down, they added.
