Indian Market: Sensex up over 100 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday rose by 153.65 pts at 52,081.09 in opening session following gains in Energy, FMCG and Finance stocks.

The Nifty too gained by 28.55 pts to 15,611.35.

The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 52,228.65 and 51,975.67 pts respectively.

The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 15,660.75 and 15,588.65 pts respectively.

The Mid Cap moved up by 0.14 pc and Small Cap by 0.23 pc.

In 30 scrips 18 advanced while 12 declined.

The gainers were Bajaj Auto by 2.98 pc to Rs 4314.20, ONGC by 2.51 pc to Rs 116.50, HDFC by 1.49 pc to Rs 2591.60, L& T by 1.37 pc to Rs 1485.65 and SBI by 1.28 pc to Rs 429.70.

The losers were Ultracemco by 0.92 pc to Rs 6648.70, ICICI Bank by 0.76 pc to Rs 657.15, TCS by 0.63 pc to Rs 3139.30 and Bajaj Finserv by 0.57 pc to Rs 11,730.05.
